Description

The Cool Flow OR® Circulating Cooling Vest System with Arctic Chiller delivers continuous cooling by circulating cool water through over 50 feet of insulated lines built into the lightweight vest. No ice required. Set the chiller to your desired temperature and it keeps cooling for as long as you need it. Built for the OR, the system utilizes a neoprene gasket seal, high density insulation, and stainless steel compression latches to keep it water-tight and your operating room floor dry.

Customize your setup by choosing a vest style from a Fitted Cooling Vest, available in breathable Cotton, or an Adjustable Cooling Vest, available in breathable Cotton or Nylon, which is easy to wipe clean. Then select from a 13-Quart or 19-Quart Cooling Reservoir.

A snug fit is essential for optimal cooling performance. The Fitted Cooling Vest is crafted with high quality fabric with a slight stretch that allows for a comfortable, slim fit.

Keep Chill with No Interruptions

The Arctic Chiller System uses a powerful 1/10 HP chiller to deliver consistent, on-demand cooling, no ice required. Simply fill the system with water and set your desired temperature between 4°C (40°F) and 21°C (70°F) using the Digital LED Temperature Display Control. For even faster cooling, start with already chilled water. Built-in anti-freeze protection keeps the heat exchanger from freezing, so you get reliable performance every time.

Note: The standard chiller operates on 120 VAC 60 Hz current. Contact Polar Products for information on 120/240 VAC 50/60 Hz chiller options.

Your Choice of Cooling Reservoir:

  • Thirteen (13) Quart Cooling Reservoir with carrying handle

OR

  • Nineteen (19) Quart Cooling Reservoir with retractable handle and wheels
  • Ten (10) foot detachable insulated cool water lines connect the cooling vest to the cooling reservoir
  • High flow, dry, quick disconnect Euro tabbed couplings
  • Auto-drain accessory allows most of the water to be pumped from the cooler to a sink drain without lifting the cooler. Auto-drain attaches to the inside of the lid when not in use.
  • On and off switch
  • AC Power Adapter with grounded cord

Arctic Chiller:

  • The chiller system eliminates the need for filling, refilling, and emptying a cooler of ice and water.
  • Arctic Chiller system uses a 1/10 HP chiller to provide the cooling required.
  • The system is simply filled with water and the chiller set at the desired temperature between 4c (40f) and 21c (70f).
  • Digital LED Temperature Display Control
  • The anti-freezing system will not allow the heat exchanger to freeze.
  • Standard Chiller only works on 120 VAC 60 Hz current.

Cool Flow® Fitted Cooling Vest:

  • Breathable 97% cotton, 3% spandex material
  • Over fifty (50) feet of high flow cooling water lines are sewn inside the vest for maximum effectiveness.
  • The vest weighs just 16 oz. with water in the lines.
  • The lightweight, unisex vest has a clean, neat appearance, and may be worn under or over clothing.
  • The vest ensures a snug fit for maximum cooling by adjusting at the chest and waist.
  • It can be worn standing or sitting, and with the dry, quick disconnect couplings you have freedom to move as desired.

  • Prior to using this or any body cooling product, always consult a licensed healthcare provider.
  • Always wear the vest or other cooling accessory over a T-shirt or over clothing; do not wear directly on the skin.

Orders placed before 12 noon EST, Monday through Friday, typically ship the same day. Orders placed after noon, will ship the next business day. If an order requires more than two days before shipping, we will notify you via phone or email regarding the delay.

RETURNS

Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are in unused, original condition and include all components and packaging. Approved returns are subject to a 10% fee (to cover disassembly, inspection, and restocking). Shipping charges are non-refundable.

How long does the cooling last with the Arctic Chiller System?

Cooling lasts as long as the Arctic Chiller is turned on. Tip: adding two cups of ice to the cooling reservoir isn't necessary, but it can help the chiller reach your target water temperature faster during start-up.
