A promotional banner with a blue background and white text reading 'FSA & HSA ELIGIBLE HOT AND COLD THERAPY PRODUCTS' and 'PUT YOUR FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA) OR HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA) DOLLARS DROPS TO WORK ON DRUG-FREE PAIN RELIEF.' On the left, a man in a red shirt stands indoors near a window and plant, partially obscured by a large blue rectangle.

FSA/HSA

Good news: you can put your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) dollars to work on drug-free pain relief. Use your FSA or HSA card at checkout, whether you order online or over the phone.

What are FSA and HSA?

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) lets you set aside part of your income, before payroll taxes, to pay for qualified health care costs your insurance doesn't cover. Because the money is pre-tax, it stretches further than paying out of pocket.

What's eligible at Polar?

All of Polar's hot and cold therapy products are approved for purchase with FSA or HSA funds, including our Active Ice® cold therapy systems, Soft Ice® cold and hot packs and compression wraps, Thera-Temp® moist heat wraps, and drug-free pain management kits.

A note on body cooling products

Our body cooling products (cooling vests and accessories) are not currently FSA or HSA eligible, because they have a dual use: medical relief for heat-intolerant conditions, and general personal comfort. If you need body cooling for a medical reason, you can often still use FSA or HSA funds. Ask your doctor for a Letter of Medical Necessity, purchase the product, then submit a claim to your plan administrator along with the letter to request reimbursement.
