Dogs don't sweat. They shed heat by panting and through their paws, and both stop working well once the air around them is already warm. A crate makes it harder still — airflow is limited, body heat has nowhere to go, and the surface underneath holds warmth right against the dog.
The PolarPup® Crate and Bed Cooler puts a cooled surface under your dog instead. A 9-quart reservoir chills water with ice or frozen water bottles and circulates it through a 22.5" x 13" TPU pad connected by five feet of insulated tubing, so the reservoir can sit outside the crate and out of the way. A programmable timer and temperature flow control let you set how cold it runs and how long it cycles.
It's built for the situations where heat is hardest to manage: a truck bed or kennel on a hot afternoon, field work in summer, or an older dog struggling through a warm night at home. Choose a single pad for one dog, or the double pad configuration to run two from the same reservoir.
Two things worth knowing before you buy. The PolarPup® is a comfort cooling system, not a therapy device — it isn't intended for treating animals. And while the pad is durable, it can be chewed through, so we don't recommend it for persistent chewers or dogs that are destructive when crated.
