Cool Flow® Cooling Seat and Back System
Description
The Cool Flow® Cooling Seat and Back System keeps you cool by continuously circulating ice chilled water through the tubing sewn into the interior of the seat. It connects to the cooling reservoir via insulated tubing, delivering steady, consistent cooling for stationary use. Available in breathable Cotton or Nylon, which is easy to wipe clean. Strap ties at each corner and a loose buckle strap for the seat crotch let it fit almost any seat. Optional Arctic Chiller lets you set your desired temperature and it keeps cooling for as long as you need it while in stationary use. No ice required.

Long-Lasting Cooling
The 9-quart holds up to six standard size 500 ml frozen water bottles. Frozen water bottles are a reusable, convenient alternative to ice that can be easily swapped out with a fresh set from the freezer once thawed, eliminating the need to drain melted water and making life easier. The hinged lid snaps firmly in place to keep everything sealed and mess-free. Simply add ice or frozen water bottles and you're ready to go.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the cooling effect last with the 9-Quart Cool Flow® System?
Cooling time can vary based on several factors, but many customers report 2–3 hours of cooling with the 9-quart system.
Several things affect how long the cooling lasts:
Body Heat: Everyone generates different levels of body heat. As the system pulls heat away from the area it's cooling, the ice or frozen bottles will melt. This is a sign the cooling is working.
Cycle Time: Longer cooling sessions will require more frequent ice or bottle changes. Always follow your healthcare provider’s recommended cooling schedule.
Cooling Setting: Higher flow settings (1–4) deliver colder cooling but use ice faster. Lower settings help extend cooling time.
Type of Ice Used: Frozen water bottles last significantly longer than loose ice. That’s why Cool Flow® Systems are designed to hold standard 16 oz frozen water bottles, creating a larger, longer-lasting cooling source than traditional ice.
The blanket bladder and Cool Flow system are the key to my quality of life with anhidrosis and erythromelalgia. At first my face and then my ears became extremely red, swollen, and painfully hot when exposed to light, heat (over 65F), or when I sit/stand upright. Eventually, my back and shoulders were affected, too, and I couldn't lean back or lay down without the skin that was against the fabric overheating. I use the blanket bladder across the top of my bed, covered by a fleece blanket, and the Cool Flow on a low setting. This keeps me cool around 6 hours without getting too cold (skin damage from cold water and ice is a risk with erythromelalgia). This condition is difficult to live with, but five years in, nothing has come close to the relief I get from this. I recently got a backup system, because even though customer service is very responsive and courteous, I don't want to go a single day without it!
