Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, often accompanied by fatigue, sleep disturbances, cognitive difficulties (“fibro fog”), and increased sensitivity to touch or temperature. For some individuals, especially those who experience heat sensitivity or inflammation during flare-ups, body cooling may offer supportive relief by helping calm irritated tissues and reduce feelings of overheating. While results vary, non-invasive cooling options are often used as part of a broader comfort strategy, sometimes alongside moist heat or gentle massage, depending on the type of discomfort being experienced.
