Instructions

Thera-Temp® Moist Heat Wrap Instructions:
Thera-Temp® Moist Heat Wraps provide deep, soothing relief for muscle stiffness, joint pain, tension, and chronic discomfort. To use, fold the wrap with the white fleece side inside the fold and the black side facing out. Place the wrap in a clean microwave by itself and heat according to the time listed on the tag. Carefully remove from the microwave and check the temperature before applying. If the wrap is too hot, allow it to cool. If additional heat is needed, refold and return to the microwave in 10-second increments, testing between each interval. Position the wrap around the desired body area and secure using the hook tab closure.

Soft Ice® Pack Instructions:
This therapy pack provides relief from bruises, bumps, cuts, scrapes, muscle aches, swelling, insect bites, chronic pain, and post-surgery recovery. Simply store your Soft Ice® pack in the freezer and remove when needed. Insert into your compression wrap and position over the targeted area, securing with the closure for a snug, comfortable fit.

Treatment Guidelines:
For acute injuries, use cold therapy during the first 48 hours, then alternate with heat therapy after swelling goes down. Doctors typically recommend applying therapy for 20 minutes at a time with 20-minute breaks between applications.

Safety & Precautions

Always the compression wrap with the Soft Ice® Packs or cloth to protect skin from burns or frostbite. Always test how hot the Thera-Temp® Moist Heat Wrap is before placing it on the body.

Caution: Do not overheat this product. Overheating may damage heat pack or burn patient. Do not use on anyone who is unconscious or unable to feel pain.

Warranty

Orders placed before 12 noon EST, Monday through Friday, typically ship the same day. Orders placed after noon, will ship the next business day. If an order requires more than two days before shipping, we will notify you via phone or email regarding the delay.

RETURNS

Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are in unused, original condition and include all components and packaging. Approved returns are subject to a 10% fee (to cover disassembly, inspection, and restocking). Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I heat the Soft Ice® Pack?

Microwave Method (Recommended):
Place pack flat in the microwave and heat on the lowest setting for 30 seconds. Gently press the pack to distribute heat evenly throughout, then repeat in 30-second intervals if additional warmth is needed for heat therapy.

Stovetop Method:
Boil water in a pot, then remove from heat. Place the therapy pack in the hot water for 5 minutes. Important: Do not boil the pack directly. This will damage the material.

How long does the cooling effect last?

The Soft Ice® Packs deliver comfortable cooling for up to 1 hour.

Please note: cooling times are estimates and will vary depending on climate, body metabolism and activity.

How long does the heating effect last?

The Thera-Temp® Moist Heat Wrap deliver theraupeutic moist heat for approximately 20 minutes.
