Details: I am using this system after rotator cuff surgery. It has been a real help with pain management, I especially like the control that lets you set the pump speed, and on/off times. This pad is a better choice than the other, smaller shoulder pad (which I also have), as it spreads the cold over a larger area. Only downside is that it is challenging to put on when arm in sling. Also, customer service was very good in answering a pre-purchase question.
