"Thanks, from a disabled veteran!"
Jessica on 6/14/2018 11:25:35 AM
Details: I’m a 100% disabled Air Force veteran who got sick from my service in Afghanistan. I was diagnosed with MS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Chronic migraines and much, much more. It’s extremely hot where I live and I would have relapses whenever I had to go outside. My Neurologist recommended "Polar Products”. I purchased one of everything that was recommended for MS patients as well as several other items for women and migraines. I have had these products since 2014. They are like "American Express, you never leave home without it”. I’m now doing better and can actually do the things I used to do and not get super sick from the heat. The cloth products last through years of washes and the cool packs still continue the cooling effect for house, like new. I recommend Polar Products to everyone! Whether you are a patient or somebody who has trouble with heat, Polar Products does the job and the products last for years! Thanks Polar Products!

"Great for large-chested women with MS!"
Rachael Majka on 10/16/2015 2:59:26 PM
Details: I got the Secrets Vest with Cool58® Packs because most of the other cooling vests were more like traditional vests - they went over your shoulders and chest. Personally, I am a large-chested lady, so finding a vest that would have a snug fit was challenging. The Secrets Vest with Cool58® Packs is great in that regard. It fits comfortably on my abdomen, above my belly button and below my bra. It's easy to sit while wearing it, which makes it ideal for bike riding and use at the gym. So, why a 4 and not a 5? A few minor things. First, I'm not sure that the upper abdomen is the most effective spot for cooling the body. Depending on the kind of bra I'm wearing with it, I sometimes still end up with sweaty boobs and 1 inch lower have a cold tummy. It's a weird feeling. Secondly, for me, it doesn't cool enough on its own to be a stand-alone. I almost always end up grabbing something to put on my neck to help in addition. (So one of their kits might be good to try.) Lastly, it takes a while for the packs to "freeze" if you use the refrigerator instead of the freezer. Since I've ended up using the freezer anyway, I kinda wish I'd gone with the Kool Max® Packs. At the end of the day, it's great to be able to walk around in the heat without MS kicking my butt. My complaints are honestly minor.

"THANK YOU!"
Joanne on 9/15/2012 12:57:36 PM
Details: This product was a real blessing this summer and I am SO THANKFUL I bought it. NO REGRETS here. We did the farmers market all during the hot days of summer in the south. I wore this and brought the refills along in a cooler. The two sets of ice packs lasted about 4 hours total on the hottest days (they were still a little cool but not cool enough to really make a difference). There's no way I would have made it through without it. The only "negative" thing I'd like to say is: it's not really a secret vest! It's obvious you have something on under your clothes and really I personally would rather people see it than hide it and have them wonder. That's just a little side note though. Thanks for this product!

"Kool Max Secrets Vest"

Details: Great cooling torso belt. Does its job. The only thing is it is not that secretive under clothing like I thought it would be.

Details: As an individual with MS heat drains me quickly. I recently purchased a second vest since I really like the first one. Bring a cooler and swap out the packs when low. Super easy. Was able to stay cool @ a 100 degree party for multiple hours. Thank you for allowing me to play with my daughter at the park, take a boat ride, and other do things that I couldn't do a few years ago.

Details: The secrets vest fits well. I thought about buying the [Kool Max Zipper] vest, but I'm small and always in a wheelchair, so I thought the vest would be bulky and uncomfortable. The secrets vest doesn't cool me quite enough on hot days like the vest probably does, but usually it's good. Sometimes I put it behind me while in my wheelchair without attaching the velcro; it cools and gives me a little lumbar support. There are 2 cold packs in the front and back. When picking the belt up, the 2 packs slide into one pocket. It needs a small velcro tab like the soft cold pack you sell.
