Details: This is my second hip surgery. I decided to buy a Polar because of how much ice we went through on the first hip surgery. I like this much better than the white ice bags. It stays colder longer, conforms to the body better, and it's easier to lay with at night. I'm just dissatisfied that no one told me about this product on my first hip surgery.

Details: Thank you so very much to Polar for the Active Ice hip therapy machine for my recent hip replacement. It is performing perfectly, delivering cool relief exactly where it's needed. The swelling has been going away steadily, to the point it's nearly gone in a short 3 weeks! It is also very easy to use. Each morning, we replace the ice with 'bricks' made in Tupperware containers. The quick connect cooling pads are very easy to use, allowing me to put it on and forget it for most of the day. And the timer switch eliminates the need for logging each treatment and watching the clock. I'm getting the right therapy time at the right time! I will certainly recommend Polar Products to anyone in need if ice therapy. I'm healing faster than anticipated thanks in part to you product.

Details: Love it! I had L5-S1 fusion surgery. This ice pump is so necessary for reducing inflammation.

Details: I had L5-S1 fusion surgery. This ice pump is so necessary for reducing inflammation. I k ow it has the velcro waist strap, but I use it in the same chair all the time, so I set up the pad in the chair and just sit down and lean back on the pad when I use it. Way easier. Get a pack of the short water bottles. Freeze them and use them over and over as ice source in the cooler.

Details: It saved the day. I had hip replacement surgery which needed icing, 20 mins on 40 off. I filled up ice container in morning and lasted all day. I iced all day as well. Great Product

Details: I recently pushed a rib out of place and had excruciating pain in my back and chest. A nerve was being aggravated and I was in constant pain. Even with pain killers I was only able to average about 2 hours of sleep a night. I got this system and it helped me sleep through the night without pain meds! So thankful for this product!
