Details: I can't say enough good things about this. I had rotator cuff surgery, and everyone was warning me about the pain, but with this machine I didn't even need pain meds. I only took it the first day because everyone told me to, but I hardly had any pain at all thanks to your product.

Details: I had shoulder surgery and was advised by a friend to get some kind of ice machine. My ins. would not pay for this. I shopped around and decided on the Active Ice 3.0 because of its ease of use. It saved me from so much pain it is incredible. I never needed prescription pain meds because of this machine. I was uncomfortable but nothing that was too bad. Hospital and Dr. pleased I did not need narcotics for pain relief. It is so easy with the water bottles to freeze and replace. Can't say enough about this product.

Details: My husband has been using the Polar AIS3.0 shoulder system for post-surgical cryotherapy since his rotator cuff surgery. The unit works great but the tubing on the shoulder is a bit short for him to connect/disconnect himself in the front of his body. The 12” extension is perfect! It is so helpful and my husband is able to operate the unit independently. I would not hesitate to recommend this device or your company!

Details: After having total shoulder replacement and dealing with ice bags, etc. I took the advice of co-workers and invested in one of these machines. My wife who was handling the ice bags said nothing could be simpler than putting the six frozen water bottles in the cooler along with the prescriber amount of water. I did my research and I liked the option of an on/off switch and temperature control (actually alters pump flow rate which does indirectly affect temperature. Both features have been useful. The power adapter looks a lot like a laptop computer AC adapter so it is well built. The connection from the outlet to the power brick uses the same connection as a computer monitor power cable. I was able to find a spare one of those around the house so I have the option of hooking up two places and not have to reach for the outlet. Only disappointment is the dedicated shoulder pad for someone who is 5'11/150 with a 40 chest is plenty big and the pad would be a whole lot easier for my wife to put on me if we were not dealing with so much material. I am reluctant to go with the small option due to cost and it doesn't appear to have the same dedicated shape. Overall, mechanically very sound, well engineered and should last a long time. Many competitive products lack an on/off switch or a temperature option. I have another shoulder to be replaced in March so we'll be using this machine for quite some time.

Details: I absolutely love this ice chest pump system to help relieve pain from rotator cuff surgery. Little challenging installing the boot over my shoulder one handed. Definitely helps if you have someone to help you put it on. The velcro straps help hold it in place while it pumps ice cold water through the boot. Adjustable settings for time running, time off cycles. Soothing for pain relief. Warmth review questions is rather idiotic since your running ice cold water through it..... Ain't nothing warm about it! I love it! Highly recommend this to anyone recovering from surgery or even after rough day working out, at work etc.

Details: I ordered the Active Ice Cold Therapy System a couple of weeks before my left rotator cuff surgery. Since this is Covid time I had to wait 2 months for my surgery so I was happy to get this to help with the pre surgical pain. It was and is a total relief. Sleeping with a torn rotator cuff is anything but easy. After I got the System, though, I was able to sleep through the night on only Tylenol while waiting for elective surgery to restart. I did have a small issue with connecting up the pad, it was a pretty tight fit. I called the company and wound up talking to the owner/designer. He said it should not be that way and shipped new connectors that were easy to replace. It was no issue that I had purchased through Amazon and not directly, I was still treated fantastically. In fact he asked which shoulder and when I told him left shoulder he offered that they had made a change to the design because they found for left shoulders the main strap needed to be reversible. He sent me that part as well free of charge and 2nd day and it was no issue to make the modification. It is now post-surgery and the device is my ever present helper, I also love that I can set the on off sequence by 10 minute increments to virtually anything I would want. 30 on 30 off is one of the recommendations on the web but I have typically used 10 on 10 off although I love that I can change it as pain either increases or decreases. 1 1/2 weeks after surgery I’m using more like 10 on and 20 off since the pain has begun to subside. Absolutely fantastic customer service, this is a great product and terrific company.

Details: Good morning, I recently purchased your Active Ice Cold Therapy System in advance of surgery performed on my right shoulder. My surgeon turned me on to the cold therapy idea when he provided a brochure for another unit that I could rent for $300 for two weeks from another company following my surgery. He indicated he had no financial interest in that product, but he highly recommended it to his patients to reduce pain and swelling post-surgery. I must tell you, your product is working amazingly well for me. Currently, it has been 1 week since my surgery and I have used your product daily. I could not imagine the number of pain pills I would have taken if I did not have your unit. I am, as the saying goes, a true believer.

Details: Purchased a Polar Active Ice Cooler and have used it during recovery from 3 different shoulder surgeries since October 2017. It does a much better job for pain relief than leaking bags of ice cubes. Whenever I see a person in public with their arm in a sling due to a rotator cuff injury, I recommend the Polar Active Ice machine to them. One thing I do is to fill empty plastic water bottles about 3/4’s full with water and place in freezer. 2 or 3 frozen water bottles will keep the water cold for 8 to 10 hours and changing out frozen water bottles.

Details: We have been using your Active Therapy System after my wife’s shoulder surgery and it is a lifesaver. Donna just started her 6th week after surgery and is doing well thanks to your product. We’re also went on a 6 hour drive in the car. The inexpensive power take off adapter for the car worked great and she was able to use the unit while we were traveling. This therapy unit is fantastic.
