Details: I purchased this product for myself for use after having rotator cuff surgery. I couldn't find the larger product online being I wear a xxl. I called POLAR PRODUCTS, they answered in 2 rings. The woman that answered was so helpful. I told her what I was looking for and she told me what to put in the search bar. She told me shipping was free, there's no sales tax (I'm in Michigan, they're in Ohio) and then she was so nice she gave me a discount code. What great customer service. The product itself is top notch. It's very simple to put together. There's no mess with this system and we can use it in the future. You can also purchase different attachments for other parts of the body. I have already mentioned this product to others and gave it a rave review.

Details: A true lifesaver!!! A suggestion for users. If using frozen water bottles. I adjusted how many frozen bottles to put in the cooler to help adjust temperature. You still need to make sure there is water up to the "Fill Line”. Just a suggestion!

Details: We bought this for my wife who had rotator cuff repair surgery. What a great product. It's super easy to set up and the timer allows it to cool on and off all night/day long. I had a little trouble trying to figure out how to buy what I needed, so I called them and their customer service was very helpful. Can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

Details: Bought this for rehab on my shoulder after surgery. I couldn’t be more satisfied. It has allowed me to keep the inflammation down by running 20 min on and 20 off for long periods of time. Without constantly getting up to change ice packs. Six frozen water bottles lasts more than expected.

Details: I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery, and this mighty machine is a life saver. Only thing that could be improved is the quality of the Velcro, it doesn’t stick as well as it should. And, it could be shorter.

Details: The cold therapy was great after surgery, but it's somewhat heavy on a tender shoulder, and the location of the water hose means gravity tugs on it and puts pressure on the injury if worn as photos of product show. Suggestion for users of this product: get some 2 velcro and cut it into 6 pieces and use that to manipulate the shape of the pad to fit your body. the straps that come with it are ok, but way too long.

Details: I purchased the Polar Active Ice 3.0 Cold Therapy Ice Machine System after I had surgery for rotator cuff tendon repair and a bicep tear repair. This product worked great for my rehab and we will use it for my wife's future knee surgery.

Details: Did my homework and research on these machines, Polar definitely Number 1. My only slight problem with the shoulder piece was the fact that my wife has to wear the immobilizer sling for six weeks. Could not get the pad over or through the sling placement. We have it placed over, on top of her surgery. It really does the job, just couldn’t strap it. Again, the timer feature and fact that I’m using the frozen water bottles in place of loose ice is great! Thank you again, please include a picture with a person with the sling on! Glad it’s a small business, made in the USA!

Details: My doctor recommended icing my shoulder after rotator cuff surgery, and this device was great. I like the fact that you can set a timer for on and off as well as the coldness level.

Details: I was going to rent a cold therapy machine from my doctor's office, but I inquired about the product and found that it had an auto shutoff after 20 minutes. I researched other products and found that Polar has the only programmable cold therapy machine, and it is made in the USA. I am able to program exactly what I need 120 minutes on, 30 minutes off. I was a little worried about using the machine because I do not like ice treatments. This is very different from an ice pack. Ice water is continuously pumped through the shoulder pad, and it is not too cold (it also has 4 temp. settings), and more importantly, I feel no shoulder or upper arm pain while using the machine. Two weeks after rotator cuff and bicep surgery, I still use the machine at least twice a day after PT and at the end of the day when I am sore. I called customer service with a few questions before ordering the machine, and they were so helpful and nice. Also, it shipped out the same day.
