1. ADJUSTABLE, CUSTOM FIT
It is important for cooling vests to fit snug to the body for optimal cooling. This cooling vest has adjustable hook and loop straps at the chest, waist and shoulders for a snug, comfortable and customized fit.

2. CONVENIENT AND EASY TO WEAR
Once the cooling vest has been adjusted for size, it is easy to put on every time with the zipper-pull front. The clean design (with no logos or visible pack pockets!) is available in several sizes. Wear the vest over clothing or discreetly underneath.

3. COMFORTABLE 100% COTTON
The cooling vest shell is constructed of durable and machine washable 100% cotton twill.

4. KOOL MAX® COOLING PACKS
Kool Max® frozen water-based cooling packs require access to a freezer and offer the highest level of cooling energy. These reusable packs deliver comfortable cooling for up to 3-4 hours. It takes more energy to charge these packs in a freezer and in return, the packs offer greater cooling energy than Cool58® cooling packs. (Please note: cooling times are estimates and will vary depending on climate, body metabolism and activity.) The vest includes four (4) 4.5" x 12" or four (4) 6" x 15" double-bagged Kool Max® packs (depending upon size.) See the size chart for more information.

5. INSULATED PACK POCKETS
Packs fit into insulated pockets inside the cooling vest. The pockets have a comfortable all-cotton fabric to protect the skin and an insulated outer composite fabric to direct the cooling energy toward the body. Temperature may also be adjusted for comfort by increasing or decreasing the number of clothing layers beneath the vest or the number of packs used.

6. VARIABLE WEIGHT
We offer two (2) sizes of Kool Max® Packs to keep the vest weight in proportion to the wearer's size:
  • Sizes S/M includes four (4) 4.5" x 12" Kool Max® Packs for a total vest weight of 4.0 lbs.
  • Sizes M/L through 2XL/3XL include four (4) 6" x 15" Kool Max® Packs for a total vest weight of 6.0 lbs. 
If you'd like an extra set of Cool58® Phase Change Packs, we offer three (3) sizes for Cool58® Packs for you can determine your ideal total vest weight:
  • 5" x 12.5" packs with 400g of cooling material; each pack weighs 0.88 lbs. for a total vest weight of just 4.0 lbs. (Available for all sizes)
  • 6" x 13" packs with 500g of cooling material; each pack weighs 1.1 lbs. for a total vest weight of just 5.5 lbs. (Not available for size S/M)
  • 6.5" x 16" packs with 800g of cooling material; each pack weighs 1.76 lbs. for a total vest weight of just 7.5 lbs. (Not available for sizes S/M and M/L)

  • Kool Max® frozen water-based cooling packs require access to a freezer and offer the highest level of cooling energy. It takes more energy to charge these packs in a freezer and in return, the packs offer greater cooling energy than Cool58® cooling packs. 
  • These reusable packs deliver comfortable cooling for up to 4 hours depending on environment, activity, and personal metabolism. (Please note: cooling times are estimates and will vary depending on climate, body metabolism and activity.)
  • Packs are non-toxic and non-flammable.
  • Works in any climate - extreme heat and humidity are no problem! The cooling performance is not impacted by humidity or outside temperature.

How to find your size:

This vest is adjustable at the shoulders, chest and waist. Therefore, it will fit a wide range of body types. These measurements may help determine the best size for you.
  • To measure the chest and waist circumference: First, wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest and under your armpits, making sure to keep the tape parallel to the ground. This determines your chest measurement. Then wrap a measuring tape around your natural waistline (usually across your belly button), making sure to keep the tape parallel to the ground. See where the larger of the two measurements fall on the size chart.Please note: The vest circumference is independently adjustable at the chest and waist with hook and loop strap closures. if you think you are in between two sizes, order the next size up to accommodate the cooling packs.
  • To measure the vest length: Hold the tape measure at the highest point of your shoulder. Look straight ahead and pull it down to your natural waist. Mark this measurement on the tape measure with your thumb. Please note: The vest length can be adjusted at the shoulders. When in doubt, order the next size up to accommodate the cooling packs and to prevent the vest from looking too short.
  • Please note: the weight range is simply a guide; there are many exceptions for different body types. The optional extension strap kit includes extension straps for the waist, chest and shoulders. The extension strap kit adds up to 20" in circumference and 5" in length to any vest size. This allows an extra fit adjustment for large people, extra long torsos or extra large chests or waists on smaller people. Click here to purchase the extension strap kit.
