Shoulder Compression Wrap (#SAW)

The Universal U-Shaped Bladder is attached to the inside of the compression wrap.
Holds the bladder comfortably in place on the shoulder using:
(1) 3" x 44" elastic belt with hook and loop tabs closures
(1) 3" x 10" elastic belt with hook and loop tabs closures
The soft cotton backing absorbs moisture and helps protect the skin while the insulated outer fabric directs maximum cold therapy to the shoulder.

Warning

The Active Ice® 3.0 System can be cold enough to seriously injure the skin.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. Provide a complete medical history, specifically any reactions to the cold.
Certain medical conditions may be more susceptible to cold-related injuries. Ask your practitioner about any potential adverse reactions. Caution: use of cold therapy by children, diabetics, incapacitated patients, and those with poor circulation or special skin conditions should be carefully supervised by a medical professional.
Use only as prescribed by a licensed healthcare practitioner and follow all of his or her instructions regarding the frequency and duration of cold therapy, proper temperature, how and when to check the skin, and length of treatment.

Details: My Active Ice ice-o-lator (that''s what we call it) is as important to my recovery from shoulder surgery as the pain meds. It cools my shoulder, reducing the pain I experience, and reducing inflammation, which allows for quicker healing. Get one before your own surgery. You''ll be glad you did. Details: This was wonderful for my husband''s shoulder reversal operation. He kept in on most of the time. I learned that making ice blocks with rectangular plastic food containers was the best! He really loved it. We both think it helped him heal faster and feel better sooner. Great product!

Details: The pad itself could be larger or a second model could be offered for people with larger shoulders. Otherwise the system is very good. Note from Polar: Hi George, thanks for your feedback! Details: This is one of the smartest purchases I've made as well as inexpensive. So much easier and comfortable then fighting with elastic straps, around the bladder.. It also holds the cold in longer.

Details: The wrap does a very good job of keeping the circulation "bladder" in the correct position for cooling the shoulder post surgery highly recommend! (Note: Excellent service by the order folks too!)

Polar Products Inc. warrants that this product is free from defects in workmanship, materials and fitness for use, for six-months from initial purchase under normal use for which it was intended. Polar's obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of any defective part(s) of this product. If you have a problem with your Active Ice® 3.0 System, please call Polar's customer service at 1.800.763.8423 to obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA#).

Please note: health regulations prohibit us from accepting returns on used cold therapy systems. If there is a problem with its operation (as covered by the warranty), and the system is within its 180-day warranty period, it will be repaired at no charge. Unused systems may be returned with a 15% disassembly, inspection and restocking fee, within 30 days of the initial purchase. Call Polar to arrange.
